Machingo, Karssiens & M2 Foodservice Representatives Join Master-Bilt Team

Master-Bilt is pleased to announce the hiring of Tom Machingo, Vice President of Operations, and Chris Karssiens, Vice President of Sales. We’ve also added M2 Foodservice Representatives as a new independent sales representative agency.

Machingo has many years of operational experience including lean manufacturing, engineering, production, new plant startup expansions, production control, machining, metal fabrication and processing. Before joining Master-Bilt, Machingo was Senior Director of Operations for Unified Brands and VP of Manufacturing at Ice-O-Matic. He provided strategic decision support to modernize manufacturing equipment and processes to increase profitability and competitiveness.

Karssiens has been in the foodservice industry his entire career including the last 18 years with Enodis, Manitowoc and Welbilt. He successfully guided multiple teams as a senior leader while achieving significant shareholder value improvement both in the United States and while serving as Managing Director in Asia Pacific for seven years.

With their new roles at Master-Bilt, Machingo will be working to maximize company efficiency through operational improvements and improving overall job safety and Karssiens will develop and execute a commercial strategy to achieve core growth and expand new business opportunities.

They will be collaborating with leaders of the Standex Food Service Equipment Group to help drive group level initiatives and, as active members of the Standex Refrigerated Solutions Group leadership team, will both provide assistance to create continuous business improvements.

M2 Foodservice Reps is a new agency formed by company president Mike Garfinkle and his business partner and son, Mory Garfinkle. They will be representing Master-Bilt in the MAFSI 4 region, serving eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.
