Rusty Ekness Joins RSG Team

Master-Bilt is pleased to welcome Rusty Ekness to the Refrigerated Solutions Group (RSG) team as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing.

In his new position as VP of Product Management and Marketing, Ekness will develop and execute the overall vision, purpose and product management and marketing strategy at RSG. He will help build product roadmaps, drive pricing strategies, identify new markets, and manage the new product development processes. To achieve these outcomes, Ekness will establish the performance conditions needed to drive a high-performance product management and marketing culture, which will deliver repeatable successes over time. He will be an integral part in helping the company best manage their resources in order to achieve customer intimacy.

Ekness earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Business Administration from Minnesota State University. He comes to RSG from Co-Operative Plating Co. in St. Paul, MN where he was president. Before that, he spent the bulk of his career at Emerson Automation Solutions in product management, marketing and global sales leadership roles.

Rusty will be based out of the RSG office facility in Hudson, WI.
