Walk-Ins Get Major Enhancements

The only constant thing in life is change and that also applies to walk-ins. Master-Bilt has made some exciting walk-in product updates resulting in more available options and more usable refrigerated space. Plus, the Quick Ship program has gotten bigger and better!

Actual Replaces Nominal

One of the biggest changes is that now all walk-ins are based on actual instead of nominal measurements. What does that mean? Simply put, if you specify an 8 x 10 walk-in, you’ll get the full 8 x 10 surface area instead of the nominal 7’9” x 9’8” size. That translates into more usable cold space in each walk-in.

New QS Series Quick Ship Models

Master-Bilt new QS Series program features single room coolers and freezers with matching self-contained Capsule Pak™ refrigeration systems. With the QS Series, panels and systems are combined into one model number to make ordering simple. If you do not need a refrigeration system, there are numerous panels-only QS models as well.

More Options For Quick Ships 

Master-Bilt’s previous 10-Bilt® model walk-ins have merged into the Quick Ship program to expand the product offering. This means options like view windows and shelving kits are now offered. In addition, single room coolers and freezers as well as combination models are included. Also, Quick ship models are matched either with a remote Split-Pak refrigeration system, consisting of condensing unit and evaporator coil, or a Capsule Pak system.*

Other features include:

• Standard widths of 6′, 7′ & 8′ (optional 9′, 10′, 11′ & 12′ widths)
• Unlimited lengths in 1-foot increments, 26″, 30″ or 36″ wide doors
• Heights of 7’7″ & 8’7″ with floor, 7’4″ & 8’4″ floorless

But Some Things Don’t Change

You can still get a Bilt2Spec™ model custom designed in practically any size, finish, color or shape. And, if you are looking for a factory pre-assembled model, you can have a Ready-Bilt™ walk-in delivered to your job site ready to install.
